It seems that the women German team hasn't recovered completely from its defeat against Singapore in quarterfinals on Friday. Now Jiaduo Wu and Co. faced defeat against Japan again but this time Germans made things difficult for Ai Fukuhara and Kasumi Ishikawa. Despite this defeat, Germans still has to play its last match against Poland to fight for the seventh place.
Just almost a day after being eliminated in quarterfinals at hands of Singapore, the women German team had to come back to the court but the main one but to the second one. Jiaduo Wu and Co. had to face Japan again, which also suffered a painful defeat in semifinal against South Korea, to define places from 5th to 8th.
In the group phase, Germany didn't have any chance against Japan. Kristin Silbereisen fell against Kasumi Ishikawa by 3:1. Then Jiaduo Wu faced defeat against Ai Fukuhara, while Irene Ivancan succumbed to Irene Ivancan.  However, this second match was close but maybe that made it more painful.
After leading 2:0 against Ai Fukuhara, Kristin Silbereisen couldn't close the match and the Japanese player took control of the match and won by 12:10 in the last game. Then Jiaduo Wu faced Kasumi Ishikawa. Players got  the deciding match, where Ishikawa stood victorious by 12:10 too. This time Irene Ivancan, who looked more affected than her team mates by the defeat against Singapore, wasn't part of the line-up this time. Sabine Winter was the chosen one to bring her team back into the game but she couldn't stood victorious over experienced Sayaka Hirano and fell in four straight games.
In the final day of competition, Germans must face Poland again to define, who takes the seventh place. Both teams already clashed in the phase group, where Germany emerged succesfully by 3:1.
