Kim Kyung Ah is the Women Singles Champion in Spain
2012 Spanish Open Women Singles ended its competition with the South Korean chopper Kim Kyung Ah as the winner. Against her younger compatriot Yang Ha Eun, Kim Kyung Ah maintained a solid defensive skill and sometimes transforming into an attacker. Those were the key strength of the veteran. Meanwhile, there some points in the match where Yang Ha Eun came close. However, clearly in the match, the more experienced player had the control. 

It was an all South Korean final match in the Women Singles of the 2012 Spanish Open with Kim Kyung Ah and Yang Ha Eun. In the previous round, both players surivived their challenging match against Shen Yanfei and Kasumi Ishikawa respectively. Between these two survivors, the veteran prevailed.  
In the first set, the more experienced player Kim Kyung Ah imposed authority over her younger teammate as she led a comfortable 10-3 lead. Yang Ha Eun saved one point before Kim Kyung Ah sealed it with a powerful 11-4. In the second set, Yang Ha Eun showed some good attacks and was first to reached set point. However, Kim stayed in the set and leveled in 10-10. After the tie, Kim Kyung Ah had her opportunities and got a 2-0 lead in 12-10. 
After losing the previous sets, Yang Ha Eun was still fighting in the match and got her advantage in 8-6. Kim Kyung Ah was not shaken by such advantage and overtook 11-8. At this point, Yang Ha Eun needed to climbed another mountain as she is facing a 0-3 deficit. 
Yang Ha Eun returned into the fourth set with a 5-2 lead. This time, Yang Ha Eun was in a confident lead in 10-5. Kim Kyung Ah tried to catch up but came late as her opponent scored 11-9. After losing the previous game, Kim Kyung Ah posted a 9-3 lead and sealed her second victory for the night with 11-6. Kim Kyung Ah clinched the Women Singles champion in the 2012 Spanish Open.
